Kathleen Parnell, Ph.D. received her doctorate in Psychology from Boston University, with a specialization in developmental psychology and extensive coursework in neuropsychology. Two years of post-doctoral training in clinical neuropsychology was obtained at the Weaver Clinic in Weston, MA and at the Neurodevelopmental Center at North Shore Children’s Hospital in Salem, MA.  Dr. Parnell has been involved in the field of clinical neuropsychology since 1994 and has been a licensed psychologist since 1999.


Prior to her doctoral training, Dr. Parnell worked as a teacher for over eleven years, in both regular education classrooms and in a resource room. She holds a master’s degree in special education from Lesley College (now Lesley University) and received certification as a special education teacher and as a reading specialist.  She was employed as an educational therapist by the Learning Disabilities Network for five years.  


Before starting PCN in 2008, Dr. Parnell worked for eight years at the Center for Neuropsychology and Learning Disorders in Providence and Wakefield, RI as the primary child neuropsychologist.
